| Abstract: | Were evaluated serum Phosphates Alkaline in healthy people of 23 - 42 years of different sex, height and weight, in order to establish values reference the study was conducted in 1000 randomly selected people in the urban parishes of the city of Cuenca.
Research was conducted in the Clinical Laboratory of the Diagnostic Center at the Medical School of the University of Cuenca.
Of the research subjects, 35% were men and 65% were women. The majority, 34%, of subjects were between the ages of 23 and 26. 73.3% of subjects were between 1,51 and 1,70 cm tall, with an average height of 1,60 cm. 67% of subjects weighed between 51 and 70 Kg with an average weight of 63, 4 Kg.
The obtained results were as follows: the average level in the sampled population was 175, 7 ± 1,134 UI/L, with an average for men of 184,2 UI/L and an average for women171,0 UI/L .
The average height of the sample population was 1,60 cm, for subjects between the height of 1,31 and 1,50 cm the average glucose level was 79,2 mg/dl, 81,3 mg/dl for subjects between 1,51 and 1,70 cm tall, and finally 79,8 mg/dl for subjects between 1,71 and 1,97 cm, The average weight of the sample population was 63,4 Kg. The average level 30 and 50 Kg was 79,5 mg/dl, and the average glucose level for subjects weighing between 51 and 70 Kg was 81,1 mg/dl, 80,8 mg/dl for subjects weighing between 71 and 90 Kg, and finally 78,2 mg/dl for subjects weighing between 91 and 110 Kg.

| Description: | La presente investigación tiene por objeto la determinación de valores de Fosfatasa Alcalina en 1000 personas de 23 42 años que residen en la ciudad de Cuenca Ecuador en el período 2009 2010. El procesamiento de las muestras se realizó en el Laboratorio Clínico del Centro de Diagnóstico de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la Universidad de Cuenca. El 35% son varones y el 65% mujeres. La edad predominante se encuentra entre 23 26 años, que representa el 34,0 % y de 39 42 años el 23,1 % dando un total de 57,1 % con un promedio de 31,45 años; la talla predominante fue de 151 170 cm, representando el 73,3 % con un promedio de 160 cm; el peso predominante oscila entre 51 70 kg que representa el 67 % con un promedio de 63,4 kg. Los resultados obtenidos fueron: el promedio de Fosfatasa Alcalina en la población total estudiada es de 175,7 ± 1,134 UI/L, en hombres 184,2 UI/L mientras que en mujeres 171,0 UI/L. El valor promedio de Fosfatasa Alcalina en personas que miden entre 131 150 cm 178 UI/L; 151 170 cm 174,9 UI/L; y de 171 197 cm 177,8 UI/L. El valor promedio de Fosfatasa Alcalina en personas que pesan entre 30 50 kg 168,1 UI/L; 51 70 kg 175,7 UI/L; 71 - 90 kg 178 UI/L y de 91 110 kg es de 195 UI/L. AU |
