Las metodologías activas una alternativa viable para la enseñanza de la filosofía en el BGU

Abstract

In the framework of the research “Active methodologies a viable alternative for the teaching of philosophy in the BGU”, a bibliographic documentary review has been carried out on the wide field of active methodologies and their relevance in teaching. In this context, the purpose of this monograph is to establish the importance of teachers using this type of methodological action in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, teacher training and what it entails is addressed as a basis for the implementation of the active method. Likewise, emphasis is placed on opposing the active and traditional methodology, therefore, exposing its characteristics and horizons within the educational action. It also addresses the changes that education is taking at present and the importance of taking into account the active method in teaching of philosophy. What is expected is to show that the use of active methodologies in current teaching has a great potential, for which philosophy cannot be the exception and must overcome the traditional teaching method based on passivity and memorization and fix its looks towards a more active process that encourages learning in students in a reflective, critical and meaningful way.
