La evaluación auténtica: una alternativa para generar aprendizajes significativos

Abstract

This monographic work proposes the study of two categories of great importance in the educational field: authentic evaluation and meaningful learning. Where to bibliographically demonstrate that authentic evaluation is an alternative to generate meaningful learning. For which, the general considerations of educational evaluation will be analyzed at first and then continue with the analysis of the conceptualization, advantages and what to use in the development of the authentic evaluation. In a second instant, the conceptualization, importance and conditions to generate meaningful learning will be characterized. Finally, from the analysis of the aforementioned categories, you will establish their relationship to determine the importance and advantages of evaluating throughout the process in an authentic and meaningful way. This analysis will be carried out from a constructivist position based on notions and concepts from constructivist authors and theories such as Frida Diaz Barriga and Pedro Ahumada, as well as monographic productions, field studies, etc. For this study, digital databases, academic articles, books, etc. were used. Concluding that the authentic evaluation continuously with the meaningful learning allows to build learning closer and more real to the context of the students, in addition to that through this evaluation it is possible to assess the performance of the students in solving problems related to their previous experience or knowledge, therefore, at the end of the entire educational process, the student gives meaning to the learning.
