| Abstract: | The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of a lipid emulsifier (Liposorb®) on production parameters, serum effect on cholesterol, HDL and VLDL, liver, spleen and pancreas weights. 600 mixed Cobb 500 chicks were used in 3 treatments: T1: Control without the addition of the emulsifier with 6 replicates; T2:
Emulsifier on top (500 g/TM) and T3: Emulsifier (500 g/TM) minus 50 Kcal/Kg of the total EMA requirement with 7 replicates each. Productivity (weight, food consumption, conversion rate and mortality) and liver weight, spleen and pancreas were evaluated. At 7, 21 and 42 days two birds (male and female) were randomly taken from each experimental unit to draw a venous blood sample and evaluate blood parameters such as: cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL and VLDL; and were sacrificed for the extraction and weighing of their organs. At 42 days, 6 males and 6 females of each treatment were sacrificed to evaluate the yield to the canal. The use
of emulsifier in T3 provided optimal weight, consumption and conversion rate up to 21 days of age, that despite no significant difference (p>0.05) a result comparable to the control was obtained. The size of organs related to lipid digestion (liver and pancreas) showed significant difference (p<0.05) in T3 where they were increased by
an increase in secretol function, result that is noticeable at 21 days of age, coinciding with blood variables (Triglycerides, HDL and VLDL) that showed the same behavior (p<0.05) in the same period, showing that the additive improved lipid metabolism. There were no significant differences in mortality or costs (p>0.05). In terms of channel performance, T1 released with respect to T2 and T3 (p<0.05). In conclusion, the emulsifier acts effectively up to 21 days, a key period for the digestive immaturity of the bird, supplementing this incapacity, satisfying its energy demand and consequently improving its productivity. |
| Description: | El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar el efecto de un emulsificante de lípidos (Liposorb®) sobre los parámetros productivos, efecto sérico en colesterol, HDL y VLDL, los pesos de hígado, bazo y páncreas. Se utilizaron 600 pollitos Cobb 500 mixtos distribuidos en 3 tratamientos: T1 : Control sin la adición del emulsificante con 6 réplicas; T2 : Emulsificante on top (500 g/TM) y T3 : Emulsificante (500 g/TM) menos 50 Kcal/Kg del requerimiento total de EMA con 7 réplicas cada uno. Se evaluó la productividad (peso, consumo de alimento, índice de conversión y mortalidad) y peso hígado, bazo y páncreas. A los 7, 21 y 42 días se tomó
aleatoriamente dos aves (macho y hembra) de cada unidad experimental para extraer una muestra de sangre venosa y evaluar parámetros sanguíneos como: colesterol, triglicéridos, HDL y VLDL; y fueron sacrificadas para la extracción y pesaje de sus órganos. A los 42 días se sacrificaron 6 machos y 6 hembras de cada
tratamiento para evaluar el rendimiento a la canal. El uso de emulsificante en T3 proporcionó un peso, consumo e índice de conversión óptimos hasta los 21 días de edad, que a pesar de no existir diferencia significativa (p>0,05) se obtuvo un resultado comparable al control. El tamaño de órganos relacionados con la digestión de lípidos (hígado y páncreas) mostraron diferencia significativa (p<0,05) en T3 donde se vieron incrementados por un aumento en la función secretora, resultado que se muestra notorio a los 21 días de edad, coincidiendo con las variables sanguíneas (Triglicéridos, HDL y VLDL) que mostraron el mismo comportamiento (p<0,05) en el mismo periodo, demostrándose que el aditivo mejoró el metabolismo
lipídico. No hubo diferencias significativas en cuanto a mortalidad ni costos (p>0,05). En cuanto a rendimiento a la canal, T1 sobresalió con respecto a T2 y T3 (p<0,05). En conclusión, el emulsificante actúa eficazmente hasta los 21 días, periodo clave por la inmadurez digestiva del ave, supliendo esta incapacidad, satisfaciendo su demanda energética y consecuentemente mejorando su productividad. |
