Efectos que produce la sobrecarga laboral en mujeres de la “Asociación de Emprendedores de San Antonio de Gapal”, de la ciudad de Cuenca año 2019

Abstract

The present investigation was carried out in the community of San Antonio de Gapal in the rural parish of El Valle, in the canton of Cuenca, in the province of Azuay, during the months of July 2019 to December 2019. This project aimed to determine the effects it causes The work overload in women in rural areas in 2019. The research revealed that for women in rural areas, the triple role, rather than causing a negative effect on their lives, does not go beyond having stress and fatigue due to tasks at the end of the day, but they are replenished for the next day, in addition it can be affirmed that gender stereotypes remain the reproductive role of women in the home, for them the triple role or work overload with their community role that distinguish them unlike a woman urban, consider having positive effects on their lives because they have an attachment to their home with their family and have been empowered by being participants in their community, achieving recognition such as valuable women and for their agroecological production, also socially and personally. Finally, for them it has been of great importance to belong to an association where they have excelled as working women regardless of their condition, learning co-responsibility at home, they have been empowered and this has allowed them to lead a better life with their family and the organization with community.
