| Abstract: | Picture book has reached greater visibility through the last years, it is able to tell stories, show a lot of situations and convey emotions. It has become an educational tool and an instrument that helps to understand and talk about difficult topics. The practical work of this project was done by the research about the picture book, its historical background, characteristics and definition. The project covers the research about childhood fears and which are the most common fears. The study targeted 4 and 9 years old children; the information collected and the application of surveys were useful to determine the fears that occur most frequently, therefore, this fears were illustrated with materials and traditional techniques, after that, they were digitized. Thanks to picture book, the children are able to relate to these issues. They can catch and understand them without any discomfort. Hence, this work is intended to use this tool as a way to express children's fears and help them to deal with these situations and emotions, this way we can avoid future trauma. |
| Description: | El libro álbum ilustrado ha alcanzado una mayor visibilidad en los últimos años, Al ser capaz de contar historias, mostrar diversas situaciones y transmitir emociones. Se ha convertido en una herramienta educativa y, también, en un instrumento que ayuda a entender y hablar sobre temas que son difíciles de abordar. El trabajo práctico de este proyecto se hizo a partir de la investigación referente al libro álbum ilustrado, sus antecedentes históricos, sus características y definición, el proyecto abarca también la investigación del por qué sienten miedo los niños y cuáles son los más comunes. El estudio se enfocó en niños de cuatro a nueve años; mediante la información recopilada y la aplicación de encuestas se determinó los miedos que se presentan con mayor frecuencia, por lo tanto, se ilustró los mismos con materiales y técnicas tradicionales
para posteriormente digitalizarlos. Gracias a los álbumes ilustrados, los niños son capaces de relacionarse con estos temas, captarlos y comprenderlos sin que les genere algún tipo de malestar. Por ello, este trabajo tiene la intención de utilizar esta herramienta como un medio para que los niños exterioricen sus temores y ayudarlos a lidiar con estas situaciones y con sus emociones, y así poder evitar traumas en el futuro. |
