| Abstract: | The present intervention work entitled “Updating the inventory of Tourist Attractions in Santa Isabel Canton of the Province of Azuay with the methodology of the Ministry of Tourism 2018”, is an indispensable fool for tourism planning of the territory since upon this updating it is possible to elaborate plans and projects for tourism developed of the canton, which will contribute to the economy, improving the living conditions of the local community and at the same time generating the protection of natural and cultural spaces so that they last over time, so they are not lost with the new generations. The municipal GAD of Santa Isabel does not have and inventory of tourist attractions of the canton, only some of them are known at a local and provincial level so it is necessary to create a register that serves as a basic for the development of tourism.
The methodology used in the intervention project was developed by the Ministry of Tourism (2018) in which the conditions and characteristics of the tourist attractions are recorded in files and these spaces are generated through their association with the application of ARCGIS software, which allows the interaction of attractions in the canton to be understood. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo de intervención intitulado “Actualización del Inventario de atractivos turísticos del cantón Santa Isabel de la provincia del Azuay con la metodología del Ministerio de Turismo 2018”, es una herramienta indispensable para la planificación turística del territorio ya que a partir de esta actualización se pueden elaborar planes y proyectos para el desarrollo turístico del cantón, que aporten a la economía, mejorando las condiciones de vida de la comunidad local y a su vez generando la protección de los espacios naturales y culturales para que perduren en el tiempo y no se pierdan con las nuevas generaciones. El GAD municipal de Santa Isabel no cuenta con un inventario de atractivos turísticos del cantón, solo son conocidos algunos a nivel local y provincial por ello se ve la necesidad de crear un registro que sirva de base para el desarrollo del turismo.
La metodología utilizada en el proyecto de intervención fue elaborada por el Ministerio de Turismo (2018) en la que se realiza el levantamiento a través del registro en fichas de las condiciones y características de los atractivos turísticos y la generación de estos espacios a través de la asociatividad de estos con la aplicación del software ARCGIS que permite entender la interacción de los atractivos en el cantón. |
