Abstract: | Background: the importance of knowing the quantity and quality of food to be eaten in the gestational period lies in providing better health to both the fetus and the mother, coordinating the knowledge that the mother possesses with her attitudes and practices of her eating habits and nutritional status. Objective: identify theeating habits and nutritional status of pregnant women at the Biblián type B 2019 health centre. Method and Materials: descriptive cross-sectional study, conducted at the health centre of "Biblián", with 87 pregnant women between the end of the first quarter and the second quarter who attended obstetric checks, who were applied after signature of informed consent a structured and validated questionnaire with pilot. The data was entered into the SPSS 24 program and presented through simple tables, with frequencies and percentages.. Results: 64% are in the age group of women between the ages of 20-39, with full primary education level (48%), mostly from the rural sector by 80%, with 46% of pregnant women in free union and 51% in their second gestating. In relation to eating habits, pregnant women have adequate habits as well as a normal nutritional status Conclusion: the proper nutritional habits of pregnant women have a direct impact on their nutritional status. |
Description: | Antecedentes: la importancia de conocer la cantidad y calidad de alimentos que se debe ingerir en el período gestacional radica en brindar una mejor salud tanto al feto como a la madre, coordinando el conocimiento que posee la madre con sus actitudes y prácticas de sus hábitos alimentarios y estado nutricional.
Objetivo: identificar los hábitos alimenticios y el estado nutricional de las mujeres embarazadas del centro de salud Biblián tipo B 2019.
Método y materiales: estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, realizado en el centro de salud de “Biblián”, a 87 gestantes entre el final del primer trimestre y segundo trimestre que acudieron a los controles obstétricos, a quienes se les aplicó previa firma del consentimiento informado un cuestionario estructurado y validado con prueba piloto. Los datos se ingresaron en el programa SPSS 24 y se presentan a través de tablas simples, con frecuencias y porcentajes.
Resultados: el 64% corresponden al grupo etario de mujeres entre los 20-39 años, con nivel de instrucción primaria completa (48%), procedente mayoritariamente del sector rural en un 80%, con un 46% de gestantes en unión libre y un 51% en su segunda gesta. En relación a los hábitos alimenticios, las gestantes presentaron ámbitos adecuados, así como un estado nutricional normal.
Conclusión: los hábitos nutricionales adecuados de las gestantes inciden directamente sobre su estado nutricional. |
