Abstract

The objective of this research work is to determine the resilience of the Matadero river micro-basin due to the conformation of a fragile ecosystem of great hydrographic importance, which with the continuous change of land use due to anthropic activities, such as the constant presence of tourists, forest fires, transit on the section of the Cuenca - Molleturo road, etc. It is evident that the degradation and change of the physical and chemical properties of the soil have been generated, for these actions they have been relevant and to assess the risks that the micro-basin presents by quantifying the resilience of the agreement to the methodology proposed by the Ministry of Environment for the "Application of the General Guidelines for Airplanes, Programs and Climate Change Strategies of Decentralized Autonomous Governments and the inclusion of Climate Change protocols". Consequently, some concepts that are a function of the variables (affected, anthropic activities) will be considered. In addition, the methodology is attached and the processes to perform the analysis of the variables are described, also a description of the area in which It is applying the evaluation and analysis of resilience, concluding with the verification of the hypotheses raised.
