Abstract: | For this research, the nanoparticles were obtained adding Zn-Ag nanoparticle precursors with addition of iron nanoparticles previously synthesized by chemical coprecipitation, into a solvothermal reactor. The nanoparticles were characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy (MET), UV-Visible Spectroscopy and Infrared Spectroscopy with Fourier Transforms (IRTF), Using MET characterization was observed nanoparticles with regular morphology and an average particle size of 17 and 64 nm. Concurrently, the Soxhlet Method was used to obtain the extract of the criollo pepper (Capsicum annuum), for the extraction various parts of the fruit were tested. The highest concentration of capsaicin was founded in the placenta of the fruit, with 94.33% extraction and a final concentration of Capsaicin of 4900 ppm, which was determined by UV- Vis. Consequently, the nanoparticles and capsaicin were carried out in a polymer matrix of Polyvinyl Alcohol (4%) - Chitosan (2%) 1:1 %w/w, To obtain the nanofibers, experimentation conditions were used: 17.5 V; 10 cm away from the drum and 0.3 ml / h feed. The nanofibers were characterized by SEM, resulting in a diameter of fibers between 30 and 70 nm. Finally, the nanofibers were tested by release studies and the release kinetics were evaluated, from which it was obtained that capsaicin and nanoparticles are released at nautral and lower pH, following Korsmeyer and Peppas and Schott kinetic model respectively. |
