Abstract
According to Administration of Aging (AoA), by the year 2060, the older people will represent among the 98 million of people of the total population. That is, much of this priority group will be involved with technology. Hence, the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are a good alternative for lifelong learning. Therefore, it should be taken into account the needs of older people according to their learning styles by using andragogical techniques, strategies and accessibility criteria. However, nowadays many courses are offered in different platforms, but they are not oriented to older people with special characteristics according to the age. Moreover, the methodologies reviewed do not take into account accessibility criteria and andragogical techniques and strategies for building MOOCs.
Resumen
Según la Administración del Envejecimiento (AoA), para el año 2060, las personas mayores representarán entre los 98 millones de personas de la población total. Es decir, gran parte de este grupo prioritario estará involucrado con la tecnología. Por lo tanto, los cursos en línea abiertos masivos (MOOC) son una buena alternativa para el aprendizaje permanente. Por lo tanto, debe tenerse en cuenta las necesidades de las personas mayores de acuerdo con sus estilos de aprendizaje mediante el uso de técnicas andragógicas, estrategias y criterios de accesibilidad. Sin embargo, hoy en día se ofrecen muchos cursos en diferentes plataformas, pero no están orientados a personas mayores con características especiales según la edad. Además, las metodologías revisadas no tienen en cuenta los criterios de accesibilidad y las técnicas y estrategias andragógicas para construir MOOC.
