Abstract
The objective of this work is to contribute with material that helps, somehow, the performers with the preparation on the Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra through a formal analysis that can help us to discover the construction and the relationship of its sections in order to capture the sound, musical, and interpretative concept of the piece. On the other hand, with technical answers that can serve as a guide in the interpretative study of the concerto for marimba by Eric
Ewazen.
Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo contribuir con material que ayude, de alguna manera, a los intérpretes en la preparación del Concierto para Marimba y Orquesta de Cuerdas a través de un análisis formal que descubre la construcción, relación de sus secciones para captar su concepto sonoro, musical, Interpretativo. Y por otro lado, con respuestas técnicas que sirvan de guía en el estudio interpretativo del concierto para marimba de Eric Ewazen.
