Abstract: | Antecedents: the alimentary habits influence in the nutritional state of the human being, for that reason, the sportsmen must have an adequate feeding, sometimes his diet is unbalanced in necessary nutrients for his daily physical performance.
General Objective: to determine the alimentary habits and nutritional status in soccer players from 8 to 17 years of Cantón Biblián, 2019. Methodology: descriptive cross-sectional research. We worked with a finite universe of 70 soccer players from 8 to 17 years old, from the different football schools of the Canton of Biblián, 2019. As a technique, the survey and the control of anthropometric measurements were used, and two forms were used as instruments: the first on questions related to eating habits consisting of 52 items, the registration form of anthropometric measures determined the nutritional status of the players. The information was processed using the Microsoft Excel program, Microsoft Word; identifying the frequencies and percentages, presented in tables and graphs with their respective descriptive analysis.
Results: the dietary habits of the players were determined; 84.3% with inadequate forms, 65.7% with inadequate criteria and 78.6% with inadequate frequency of food consumption. In the nutritional state 42.9% with normal weight, 27.1% with low weight, with overweight 17.1%, and with obesity 12.9%.
Conclusion: A large number of players have inadequate nutritional status, despite adequate dietary habits, so it is necessary to provide a nutritional guide to improve their alimentary habits and, therefore, the nutritional status. |
Description: | Antecedentes: los hábitos alimenticios influyen en el estado nutricional del ser humano, por ello, los deportistas deben tener una alimentación adecuada, ciertas ocasiones su dieta es desequilibrada en nutrientes necesarios para su rendimiento físico diario.
Objetivo General: determinar los hábitos alimenticios y estado nutricional en futbolistas de 8 a 17 años del Cantón Biblián, 2019.
Metodología: investigación descriptiva de corte transversal. Se trabajó con un universo finito de 70 futbolistas de 8 a 17 años, de las diferentes escuelas de fútbol del Cantón de Biblián, 2019. Como técnica se utilizó la encuesta y el control de las medidas antropométricas, y como instrumentos se utilizó dos formularios: el primero sobre preguntas relacionadas con hábitos alimenticios que consta de 52 ítems, el formulario de registro de las medidas antropométricas determinó el estado nutricional de los futbolistas. La información fue procesada mediante el programa Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word; identificando las frecuencias y porcentajes, presentadas en tablas y gráficos con su respectivo análisis descriptivo.
Resultados: se determinó los hábitos alimenticios de los futbolistas; el 84.3% con formas inadecuadas, el 65.7% con criterios inadecuados y el 78.6% con frecuencia inadecuada del consumo de alimentos. En el estado nutricional el 42.9% con peso normal, 27.1% con bajo peso, con sobrepeso el 17.1%, y con obesidad el 12.9%.
Conclusión: Una gran parte de futbolistas presentan inadecuado estado nutricional, a pesar hábitos alimenticios adecuados, por lo que es necesario proporcionar una guía nutricional para mejorar sus hábitos alienticos y, por ende, el estado nutricional. |
