Abstract:
Art acts as a way to communicate, not only transmitting a massage but also looking to get beyond the common language, looking transgressing and raise awareness to the people about the real situation of domestic violence in the streets of the city of Cuenca, a massive problematic that is in all over the society because of the lack of education and the retrograde beliefs practiced in institutions, home and the of curse streets. No es uno is a way where people can know the reality in the streets through a harassed women´s perspective and at the same time be aware of what violent could be a “machista”.

El arte actúa como medio de comunicación. No solo transmite un mensaje, sino que busca llegar más allá del lenguaje común, busca transgredir y concienciar a las personas sobre la realidad actual entre otros acontecimientos de la violencia de género en las calles de la ciudad de Cuenca. Esta problemática se encuentra en todo rincón debido a la educación estancada sobre el tema, una educación machista, retrógrada practicada en instituciones, hogares y aún con mayor razón en las calles. Es un medio por el cual las personas pueden conocer la realidad en espacios públicos desde la perspectiva de una mujer acosada y a la vez ser conscientes de lo violento que puede ser un varón machista.
