Análisis del perfil del cliente de los establecimientos de alojamiento del valle de Yunguilla de acuerdo a su categoría

Abstract

Year after year, the Yunguilla Valley has exposed its tourism and different branches progress. Tourist activity and all its sections evolution, in the different places that it manifests, has meant the progress of tourism demand, that is why it is important to know what are the specific attributes of the tourists arriving at both the tourist sites as well as for tourist accommodation. The present study proposes a client profile analysis of those coming to the accommodation establishments in the Yunguilla Valley according to their category, for this, the tourist historical development background of the valley has been investigated along with a study of the accomodation establishments available in Yunguilla. The profile of the demand was established through descriptive observational methodology from a quantitative perspective, based on the survey technique. The results indicate that the tourist general profile of those staying in Yunguilla are native Ecuadorians from the city of Cuenca, single employees between 26 and 35 years of age, whose stay lasts up to three nights, with a daily spending between $31.00 to $60.00, 50% of them use their own vehicle as a means of transport and 50% use public transport; they are usually accompained by up to 5 people, on the occasion of holiday or r
