Producción de embriones in vitro con ovocitos obtenidos con tres protocolos de estimulación ovárica y aspirados por Ovum Pick Up en vacas Holstein mestizas

Abstract

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the production of in vitro embryos with oocytes obtained through three ovarian stimulation protocols and aspirated by Ovum Pick Up (OPU). For which complex oocyte clusters (COC's) were used from nine crossbred Holstein heifers subjected to three follicular wave synchronization protocols: protocol 1 (follicular ablation); protocol 2 (GnRH); protocol 3 (estradiol benzoate). Followed by ovarian stimulation with 500 IU of FSH-LH and aspirated by OPU 48h later. A total of 154 COCs were cultured in vitro, of which 55 belonged to treatment 1 (follicular ablation); 49, treatment 2 (GnRH) and 50 in T3 (estradiol benzoate). The data were processed in the statistical program SPSS version 24. For the analysis of the quantitative variables was performed an ANOVA, and to compare means, was used the Tukey test at 5%. There were no significant statistical differences between treatments in terms of the percentage of maturation obtained (67.3%, 53.1%, 56%, P> 0.05), as well as in the percentage of divided oocytes (59.5%, 65,4%, 57.1%, P> 0.05).
