| Abstract: | ¬¬¬The buildings that are part of the heritage of a city, in recent years have experienced a transmutation of uses, in several cases the results have been very successful, due to the relationship between the values held by the property and its context where it is located. emplaced. In other cases, the proposed interventions without the relevant studies have affected the property with irreparable losses.
The real estate of Cañar is not exempt for these alterations. Nowadays, with the great variety of theoretical concepts, it puts into discussion the conservative or modern positions that the new intervention proposals should have, with the purpose of protecting the heritage and guaranteeing future generations.
The objective of this preliminary project is to potentiate the heritage and culture of the city. To this end, several studies will be addressed in the old school Santa Rosa de Lima, now known as the Cañarí Cultural Center, which will help to recognize the existing values in the property and allow making the right decisions in the architectural intervention proposal. |
| Description: | Las edificaciones que forman parte del patrimonio de una ciudad, en los últimos años han experimentado una transmutación de usos, en varios casos los resultados han sido muy acertados, debido a la relación existente entre los valores que posee el inmueble y el contexto donde se encuentra emplazado. En otros casos las intervenciones propuestas sin los estudios pertinentes afectan al inmueble con pérdidas irreparables.
El patrimonio inmueble de Cañar no está exento de estas alteraciones, actualmente, con la variedad de conceptos teóricos se pone en discusión las posturas conservadoras o modernas que deberían tener las nuevas propuestas de intervención, con la finalidad de resguardar el patrimonio y garantizar su transmisión a las futuras generaciones.
El objetivo de este anteproyecto es potencializar el patrimonio y la cultura de la ciudad. Para ello se abordó diversos estudios en la antigua escuela Santa Rosa de Lima, actualmente conocida como Centro Cultural Cañarí, los cuales ayudarán a reconocer los valores existentes en el inmueble y permitirán realizar la toma de decisiones acertadas en la propuesta de intervención arquitectónica. |
