Abstract
In today’s world, environmental auditing has become a fundamental tool that companies use to manage processes efficiently, based on the environmental policies established, so that they can remain competitive in the market in which they operate.
The following Integrative Project "Environmental Audit to the processes of collection, street cleaning, and composting, carried out by Empresa Municipal de Aseo (EMAC- EP). Period 2017 " has been presented with the purpose of verifying the fulfillment of the national regulations by EMAC EP in the aforementioned processes, with the objective of determining through an environmental compliance audit, which will use a systematic and objective process of inspection and verification in the entity. For the development of this project, the methodology that will be applied was established in the Environmental Audit Guide issued by the Comptroller General of the State. The results obtained from this project will be issued through a final report with the appropriate recommendations so that the entity can make the necessary adjustments or changes to subsequently obtain an ISO 14001-2015 certification
Resumen
En la actualidad la auditoría ambiental se ha convertido en una herramienta primordial para las empresas porque ayuda a manejar sus procesos de manera eficiente basándose en las políticas medioambientales establecidas de manera que puedan permanecer y ser competitivas dentro del medio en el cual se desenvuelven.
El presente Proyecto Integrador “Auditoría Ambiental a los procesos de recolección, barrido y compostaje, realizado por la Empresa Municipal de Aseo (EMAC- EP). Periodo 2017” se ha realizado con el propósito de verificar el cumplimiento de la Normativa Nacional por parte de la EMAC EP en los procesos antes mencionados, con el objetivo de determinar mediante una auditoría de cumplimiento ambiental, la misma que utilizará un proceso sistemático y objetivo de inspección y verificación en la entidad. Para el desarrollo de éste proyecto se utilizará la metodología establecida en la Guía de Auditoría Ambiental emitida por la Contraloría General del Estado. Los resultados obtenidos de éste proyecto serán emitidos mediante un informe final con las debidas recomendaciones para que la entidad pueda realizar los ajustes o cambios necesarios para posteriormente obtener la certificación ISO 14001- 2015
