| Abstract: | This study was carried out in 4 farms of Tarqui and Victoria parishes of Portete del Cantón Cuenca, Province of Azuay, in 80 Holstein Friesian mestizas cows, randomly selected in postpartum stage, with a body condition between 2.5 - 3, multiparous, clinically healthy, with the same sanitary and management conditions; divided into an experimental group GOz (n1 = 40): ozified desensitized solution (SBO) at a concentration of 50μg / ml administered intrauterine and the second control group GC (n2 = 40). Uterine Health (SU) was evaluated to determine the presence of subclinical endometritis (ES), considering positive those with greater than or equal to 6% polymorphonuclear (PMNs) at 35 - 42 dpp by Cytobrush, reproductive parameters were also evaluated: number of services per conception (NSPC), first service delivery interval (IPPS), first service conception rate (TCPS) and open days (DAB). The results: percentage of ES in first cytology 42.5% and 50% for GOz and GC, while at 72 hours the percentage decreased to 5% for GOz and in GC maintained the same value (p <0.0001), the IPPS GOz = 75.1 ± 4.65 days; for GC = 66.1 ± 4.31 days, no significant difference was observed between both groups (P> 0.05). The NSPC was 2.1 ± 0.25 GOz and 3.1 ± 0.23 GC showing statistical difference, TCPS was 50.00% for GOz and 16.22 % for GC, a significant difference was demonstrated (P <0.01) in favor of GOz, in DAB the values benefited GOz 126.2 ± 9.72 days over 148.9 ± 9.01 days of GC; however, they did not show significance (p> 0.05) |
| Description: | El estudio se realizó en 4 ganaderías de las parroquias Tarqui y Victoria de Portete del Cantón Cuenca, Provincia de Azuay, en 80 vacas Holstein Friesian mestizas, seleccionadas al azar en etapa postparto, con condición corporal entre 2,5 - 3, multíparas, clínicamente sanas, con similares condiciones sanitarias y de manejo; divididas en un grupo experimental GOz (n1=40): solución bidestilada ozonificada (SBO) concentración 50μg/ml administrada vía intrauterina; el segundo grupo control GC (n2=40). Se evaluó la Salud Uterina (SU) para determinar presencia de endometritis subclínica (ES) considerando positivas aquellas mayor o igual al 6% de polimorfonucleares (PMNs) a los 35 – 42 dpp por Cytobrush, también se evaluaron parámetros reproductivos: número servicios por concepción (NSPC), intervalo parto primer servicio (IPPS), tasa concepción al primer servicio (TCPS) y días abiertos (DAB). Los resultados: porcentaje de ES en primera citología 42,5% y 50% para GOz y GC, mientras que a las 72 horas el porcentaje disminuyo al 5% para GOz y en GC mantuvo el mismo valor (p<0,0001), el IPPS GOz = 75,1 ± 4,65 días; para GC = 66,1 ± 4,31 días, no se observó diferencia significativa entre ambos grupos (P>0,05). El NSPC fue 2,1 ± 0,25 GOz y 3,1 ± 0,23 GC mostrando diferencia estadística, TCPS fue 50,00% para GOz y 16,22% para GC, se demuestra una diferencia significativa (P<0.01) a favor del GOz, en DAB los valores beneficiaron al GOz 126,2 ± 9,72 días sobre 148,9 ± 9,01 días del GC; sin embargo, no presentaron significancia (p>0,05) |
