| Abstract: | The purpose of this graduation project is to apply the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tool in the credit process of Coperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Alfonso Jaramillo León (CAJA). This tool will be apply in its different lines of credit: Commercial, Microcredit and Consumption Credit. The tool proposes the identificationofwastefulwithintheproductionprocess.Theimplementofthistool willcreateopportunitiesforimprovementanddesignofanewvaluemapthatwill generate added value to the organization as well as to thecustomers.
Chapter I relates the historical overview of the CAJA Cooperative. Here, the strategic and operational objectives for the year 2018 are identified. In addition, it describes the organization, its products and services that are offered to its partners and customers.
In Chapter II, the theoretical framework is detailed, specifying basic concepts of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy, the steps for the application of the Value StreamMappingtool,thetypesofwastefulandtoolsthatgohandinhand,which are objects of improvement of the TPSphilosophy.
In Chapter III, the Value Stream Mapping methodology is developed in thecredit process of CAJA, which includes the three types of credit that the cooperative offers. Starting from the current VSM diagram for its time analysis, wasteful, improvement analysis. Those results are reflected in a future Value Stream Mapping, with added value for both the organization and itspartners.
The research ends with the analysis of the results obtained, conclusions and recommendations for the application of the VSM tool. |
| Description: | El trabajo de titulación tiene como objetivo la aplicación de la herramienta Value Stream Mapping (VSM) para el proceso de crédito de la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Alfonso Jaramillo León –CAJA-, en sus diferentes líneas de crédito: Comercial,MicrocréditoyConsumo.Laherramientaproponelaidentificaciónde despilfarros y oportunidades de mejora y así obtener un nuevo mapa de valor que posteriormente beneficioso tanto para la organización como para sus clientes.
En el Capítulo I se narra la reseña histórica de la Cooperativa CAJA, se identifican tanto los objetivos estratégicos como operativos del año 2018. Además, se describe a la organización, sus productos y servicios que son ofertados a sus socios y clientes.
En el Capítulo II se detalla el marco teórico, especificando conceptos bases de la filosofía Lean Manufacturing, los pasos para la aplicación de la herramienta Value Stream Mapping, los tipos de despilfarros y herramientas de la filosofía TPS.
En el Capítulo III se desarrolla la metodología Value Stream Mapping en el proceso de crédito para los tres tipos de crédito que oferta la cooperativa, iniciando desde el diagrama VSM actual para su análisis de tiempos, despilfarros, análisis de mejora; dando como consecuencia un Value Stream Mapping futuro, con un valor añadido tanto para la organización como para los socios.
