| Abstract: | In this work, a road management system is carried out in Gualaceo-Ecuador, having parameters of sustainability, when carrying out an analysis of the life cycle cost of the infrastructure. The method to be used is Windshield, applicable at the network level, which allows obtaining as an indicator of the condition of the ICF infrastructure (Functional Condition Index), similar to the PCI (Pavement Condition Index). This method consists in making a windshield survey of the condition of the road in a visual way, allowing to obtain the most common existing deteriorations, their severity and the frequency at which they are found. The Real Cost and PALATE software are used to perform an analysis of the life cycle cost. Finally, Markov chains will be used to evaluate the deterioration of the roads over time. As results it was found that the number of roads under excellent conditions are 33%, with a very good state 59% and with a good state 8%. The prediction of the deterioration indicates that in 10 years the road network will require 46% reconstruction, while 37% a rehabilitation, this if no intervention is made. From the economic point of view, an asphalt pavement has almost half the cost as opposed to a rigid one, but in environmental aspects it is much more toxic, with 9.5 times the carcinogenic potential. The management methodology will allow to intervene in a timely manner the type of treatment that must be carried out in order to increase the level of functionality |
| Description: | En este trabajo se realiza un sistema de gestión vial en el cantón Gualaceo-Ecuador, teniendo parámetros de sostenibilidad, al realizar un análisis de costo de ciclo de vida de la infraestructura. El método a utilizar es Windshield, aplicable a nivel de red, el cual permite obtener como indicador de la condición de la infraestructura ICF (Índice de Condición Funcional), similar al PCI (Pavement Condition Indice). Este método consiste en hacer una encuesta parabrisas de la condición de la vía de manera visual, permitiendo obtener los deterioros más comunes existentes, su severidad y la frecuencia a la que se encuentran. Se usa los softwares Real Cost y PALATE para realizar un análisis del costo de ciclo de vida. Finalmente se usará las cadenas de Markov para evaluar el deterioro que presentan las vías en el tiempo. Como resultados se encontró que la cantidad de vías en condiciones excelentes son un 33%, con un estado muy bueno un 59% y con un estado bueno 8%. La predicción del deterioro indica que en 10 años la red vial requerirá el 46% una reconstrucción, mientras que el 37% una rehabilitación, esto si no se realiza ninguna intervención. Desde el punto de vista económico un pavimento asfáltico tiene casi la mitad de costo a diferencia de un rígido, pero en aspectos ambientales resulta mucho más toxico, con 9.5 veces el potencial cancerígeno. La metodología de gestión permitirá intervenir de manera oportuna el tipo de tratamiento que se debe efectuar para poder subir nivel de funcionalidad |
