Abstract

This project considers the adequate way to perform maintenance for grounding systems, in the subtransmission line at 69 kV of Sacha- Orellana. The maintenance manual, object of this project, details the procedures, personal, materials, and the minimum equipment required to perform all, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenances for the grounding systems in the subtransmission line. The types of maintenance are focused in function of the registers of atmospheric discharges, angles of shielding of the subtransmission line, resistance of the grounding system and the failures due to causes of external origin. Most of the failures registered are due to the thief of the copper conductors in most of the grounding system of the subtransmission line in Sacha- Orellana. Therefore an analysis from the points of view technical-economic and socio economic provides the search for materials to replace the ones that are commonly used in the grounding system. Furthermore, there is a verification that in the east zone, the ceraunic levels are elevated in relation to the rest of the country, this provides as a result a higher number of precipitations combined, most of them, with atmospheric discharges that influence directly in the failure indexes registered in the subtransmission line Sacha-Orellana.
