| Abstract: | The work title ‘’Eficiencia energética en la Planta Yanbal Ecuador’’, will do the energy diagnosis through analysis of the different electrical systems, making it possible to know the current situation of the plant. With this knowledge, measures will be proposed to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.
This work is divided into five chapters; in each chapter will discuss different topics allowing the transfer of information to readers in a understandable and organized way. In the first chapter it will do an introduction of the electrical installations, the elements that compose it, the energy quality factors.
In the second chapter discussed the standards for energy audit, the audit is done based on international standards such as IEEE standards, ISO standards, and others. The third chapter deals with energy efficiency issues, the methodology followed by an energy audit, in addition, analyzing the elements that are efficient and which systems can be improved.
The study and analysis of the Yanbal plant is carried out in the fourth chapter, the distribution system, the grounding and the lightning rod systems are reviewed. In addition, line-to-line voltages, harmonics and thermographic measurements are analyzed. A study is made to improve energy efficiency while verifying the previous and current electrical consumption (years 2016 – 2018) with the implementation of electrical light saving luminaries. Finally, in chapter five conclusions and recommendations are given. |
| Description: | El trabajo titulado ‘’Eficiencia energética en la Planta Yanbal Ecuador’’ se realiza un diagnostico mediante el análisis de los diferentes sistemas eléctricos, permitiendo conocer la situación actual de la planta. Con esos conocimientos se propondrá medidas para aumentar la eficiencia energética, y reducir costos de energía.
Este trabajo se divide en cinco capítulos en los cuales se trataran diferentes temas, permitiendo el traspaso de la información hacia los lectores de una forma entendible y organizada. En el primer capítulo se realiza una introducción hacia las instalaciones eléctricas, los elementos que lo componen y los factores de calidad de energética.
En el segundo capítulo se hablan de las normas para la auditoria energética, la auditoria se realiza en base a las normas internacionales como IEEE, normas ISO, entre otras. El tercer capítulo trata temas de eficiencia energética, la metodología que sigue una auditoria energética, además de analizar los elementos que son eficientes y que sistemas se los puede mejorar.
El estudio y análisis de la planta Yanbal se realiza en el cuarto capítulo, se revisa el sistema de distribución, la puesta a tierra y el sistema de pararrayos. Además, se analiza los voltajes de línea a línea, armónicos y las mediciones termográficas. Se realiza un estudio para el mejoramiento de la eficiencia energética y a la vez se verifica los consumos eléctricos anteriores y actuales (años 2016 – 2018) con la implementación de luminarias ahorradoras de luz eléctrica.
