Análisis comparativo del sistema muros portantes de hormigón frente al sistema convencional de mampostería confinada en una vivienda tipo social

Abstract

In the present study, the advantages and disadvantages of the construction systems of confined masonry and concrete bearing walls in the construction of a house of social interest are obtained and analyzed. For this, a description of each system was made based on an extensive bibliographic review, as well as an analysis of functionality, a structural analysis of the systems and a cost analysis. For the structural analysis of the concrete bearing walls system, a virtual model of the structure of the type house was made in the SAP2000 V18 program and with this model the structural design is obtained considering seismic loads according to the southern Ecuadorian zone, fulfilling the requirements of the Ecuadorian Construction Standard (NEC) 2015 and ACI318-14. For the analysis of costs, a budget was generated through a unit price analysis (APU) with the help of the InterPro software, taking into account real yields and technical specifications established for this building. Finally, a comparative table is made of these advantages and disadvantages analyzed.
