Reacciones psico-conductuales a la hospitalizacion en el paciente pediátrico del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso Cuenca 2018

Abstract

Background The first investigations on hospitalization in children were developed on the lack of maternal care, after the Second World War. Sir James Spencer in 1947, described the inadequacy of many pediatric wards; later Ala Moncriell in 1952 referred to the successful incorporation of mothers of children under five in the prevention of psychological problems. As mentioned (Kaplan and Sadock, 1975). There are many disorders that affect the development of the child caused by the change of their environment by another strange and often hostile in which is surrounded by people who do not know and the loss of contact with their loved ones, where the nursing staff will be part paramount in patient recovery. GENERAL PURPOSE To determine the psycho-behavioral reactions to hospitalization in the pediatric patient of the "Vicente Corral Moscoso" Cuenca 2018 hospital. METHODOLOGY The present investigation is of quantitative type with an observational descriptive design of cross section. The universe of study will be made up of all the children hospitalized in the pediatric area of the "Vicente Corral Moscoso" Hospital in the city of Cuenca. For the calculation of the sample size a formula for infinite universe and quantitative variable will be used, in the collection of the information the Anxiety Inventory tests (IDARE-N), Trait Depression Inventory / Children's State (IDEREN) validated instruments will be used.
