| Abstract: | This paper studies the VAT according to the law of solidarity contribution implemented by the government just after the earthquake that occurred in April 2016 and that affected mainly the provinces of Esmeraldas and Manabí. Through this law, VAT was increased from 12% to 14% with the purpose of raising funds to recover the affected areas. Thus, this work consists in studying the impact of the increase, especially in determining if it has really fulfilled the programmed. This way, the definition and history of VAT will be studied, and an analysis of the contributions of all provinces will be made, with emphasis on those that belong to Zone 6, these are, Azuay, Cañar and Morona Santiago. The work is structured in three chapters. |
| Description: | En el presente trabajo se realizara un estudio en relación al IVA en el marco de ley de contribución solidaria implementada por el gobierno a raíz del terremoto acaecido en abril 2016 y que afectó principalmente a las provincias de Esmeraldas y Manabí. A través de dicha ley se incrementó el IVA de 12% a 14% con el propósito de recaudar fondos para recuperar las zonas afectadas. Así, este trabajo consiste en estudiar el impacto del incremento, sobre todo en determinar si en verdad ha cumplido con lo programado. Para ello se estudiará la definición y la historia del IVA, y se hará un análisis de las contribuciones de todas las provincias, con énfasis en las que conforman la zona 6, estas son, Azuay, Cañar y Morona Santiago. El trabajo está estructurado en tres capítulos. |
