Abstract: | Although 95% of young people have heard about the female condom, only 15% have ever used it. In relation to the knowledge about the feminine condom, 49% say having heard a lot or something of the subject and 43.8% claims to have seen it without significant differences. A 98.8% of sexually actives indicate that they have never used it. Among the reasons attributed to the non-use of this method of contraception highlight the discomfort, ignorance of the subject, preference for another method of contraception and the fear that fails. As for the availability to prove it, 57% of the sexually non-active and 62% of the assets sexually claim to agree.
Objective:
to identify knowledge and attitudes about the use of female condom students of Fausto Molina School.
Materials and methods: it is quantitatively descriptive observational with a cross-sectional design, and will be developed with the number of students obtained through the Fisher formula. To obtain the data a questionnaire based on the questionnaire of the thesis "Knowledge on the contraceptive methods in last year students of the medical career in the Roosevelt Hospital" will be used. Description: | Aunque el 95% de los jóvenes han oído hablar del preservativo femenino, tan sólo un 15% lo ha usado alguna vez. En relación con el conocimiento sobre el preservativo femenino, el 49% dice haber oído hablar mucho o algo del tema y un 43,8% afirma haberlo visto sin existir diferencias significativas. Un 98,8% de los sexualmente activos indica que nunca lo han usado. Entre las razones que atribuyen a la no utilización de este método de anticoncepción destacan la incomodidad, el desconocimiento del tema.
Objetivo: identificar los conocimientos y actitudes sobre el uso del condón femenino estudiantes del Colegio “Fausto Molina”.
Materiales y métodos: es de tipo cuantitativo descriptivo observacional con un diseño de corte transversal, y se desarrolló con un universo de 400 estudiantes, obteniendo una muestra de 197 mediante la fórmula de Fisher.
Para obtener los datos se utilizará un cuestionario basado en el cuestionario de la Tesis “Conocimientos sobre los métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes de último año de la carrera de medicina en el Hospital Roosevelt. Guatemala, julio-agosto 2013, los cuales fueron modificados de acuerdo a las necesidades del estudio.
Para el análisis de datos se utilizará el programa SPSS versión 15.0 evaluación, el análisis descriptivo se lo hizo mediante, frecuencias, porcentajes, barras simples y pasteles para las variables nominales y ordinales.
Resultados: los resultados de esta investigación servirán para orientar a futuras investigaciones, también se podrá brindar a futuro ayuda a los adolescentes |
