| Abstract: | Background: Physical exercise helps to eliminate the fat stored in the hepatocytes, the frequent practice of sport often triple the value of liver enzymes in a physiological way, with varied concentration according to the discipline of exercise, intensity, duration and frequency of the same.
Objective: To Determine the concentration of the parameters of the liver profile on athletes from 14 to 18 years training on the Sports Federation of Cañar.
Methodology: The study was descriptive, of cross cutting; 180 athletes from 14 to 18 years of the Sports Federation of the Cañar, constituted the universe, given the small size of the Universe, it was considered as a sample to the 180 athletes of the Federation, the same ones who entered the studio after signing a consent or consent informed.
The enzymes considered were: TGO, TGP and ALP, this were determined in the laboratory of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital and for the tabulation of data was used Microsoft Excel 2013 and SPSS version 15.
Results: Of the 180 athletes who practice in the Sports Federation of the Cañar, 19,5% presented high values of liver profile. The 62.9% of these, corresponds to ALP, of them, 34.3% are women and 28.6% men. The 25.7% of those who have high transaminases are men and 11.4% women. The 77.1% 14 years and have high values in whole liver profile, while 11.4% of high alkaline phosphatase are 15 years old |
| Description: | Antecedentes: El ejercicio físico ayuda a eliminar la grasa almacenada en los hepatocitos, la práctica frecuente de deporte suele triplicar el valor de las enzimas hepáticas de manera fisiológica, con variada concentración según la disciplina del ejercicio, intensidad, duración y frecuencia del mismo.
Objetivo general: Determinar la concentración de los parámetros del perfil hepático en los deportistas de 14 a 18 años que entrenan en la Federación Deportiva del Cañar.
Metodología: El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal; el universo lo constituyeron 180 deportistas 14 a 18 años de la Federación Deportiva del Cañar, dado el tamaño reducido del Universo, se consideró como muestra a los 180 deportistas, los mismos que ingresaron al estudio tras la firma de un asentimiento o consentimiento informado. Las enzimas consideradas fueron: TGO, TGP y ALP, que se determinaron en el laboratorio del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso y para la tabulación de datos se utilizaron los programas Microsoft Excel 2013 y SPSS versión 15.
Resultados: De los 180 deportistas que entrenan en la Federación Deportiva del Cañar, el 19,5% presenta valores elevados del perfil hepático. El 62,9% de éstos, corresponde a ALP, de ellos, el 34,3% son mujeres y el 28,6% hombres. El 25,7% de los que tienen transaminasas altas son hombres y el 11,4% mujeres. El 77,1% de los deportistas que presentan valores elevados de todo el perfil hepático tienen 14 años, mientras que, el 11,4% con fosfatasa alcalina alta tienen 15 años |
