Proceso para el modelamiento y simulación de flujos de carga de las redes de media y baja tensión de la Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur C.A.

Abstract

The electric energy losses has been a constantly problem over time in electricity distribution companies. On the other hand, these companies are committed to providing a continuous and quality service to their customers, therefore the needed for an improvement in the management of electric power is an indisputable important topic to carry out integral studies that allow the joint control and analysis of the operating parameters on the entire distribution system. For the above, the studies performed in the medium and low voltage systems are unified to complete the network model of the distribution system through a detailed representation; being these, the objectives of the present graduation project. This paper presents the integration of different existing information systems like: GIS, CIS, ADMS and SCADA in the “Empresa Eléctrica Regional Centro Sur C.A.”. This information systems provides a detailed model of the entire distribution system (in this case only networks belonging to the Substation 03 Monay is analyzed). After the modeling of the system, the simulations of load flows with energy profiles are realized through the CYMDIST which is the software in order to analyze the operational characteristics of the network (loadability, voltage levels and technical losses of energy). Finally, the results, conclusions and recommendations of the topic are presented.
