| Abstract: | The maintenance is the set of all those works, scheduled or occasional to allow preserving the good operation of a facility and its benefits, within the limits that are considered as convenient in the project phase.
Traditionally maintenance has been divided into five (5) types, each with their own characteristics that differentiate them from the others, these types are Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Maintenance Zero Hours and Maintenance in use, with Preventive Maintenance being focused to the system of Public Lighting of the Cuenca canton the center of study and analysis of the present work.
The Central Electric Company CENTROSUR CA is responsible for providing the public lighting service to the Cuenca canton and therefore, is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the same, therefore the CENTROSUR, has a Department of Lighting, which is in charge of the periodical review and repair of the devices involved in such a system, these tasks are carried out under a corrective and preventive maintenance plan, being necessary to analyze it and determine possible actions that allow a continuous improvement.
The present work starts with the analysis of the indicators and considerations that must be taken for a good maintenance management, to then describe its organization and hierarchical levels, culminating with the evaluation of the preventive maintenance of the public lighting system in the Cuenca canton based on national and international recommendations. |
| Description: | El mantenimiento es el conjunto de todos aquellos trabajos, programados u ocasionales que permiten conservar el buen funcionamiento de una instalación y sus prestaciones, dentro de los límites que se consideran como convenientes en la fase de proyecto.
Tradicionalmente el mantenimiento se ha dividido en cinco (5) tipos, cada uno de ellos con características propias que los diferencian de los demás, estos tipos son: Mantenimiento Correctivo, Mantenimiento Preventivo, Mantenimiento Predictivo, Mantenimiento Cero Horas y Mantenimiento en uso, siendo el Mantenimiento Preventivo enfocado al sistema de Alumbrado Público del cantón Cuenca el centro de estudio y análisis del presente trabajo.
La Empresa Eléctrica Regional CENTROSUR C.A es la encargada de prestar el servicio de alumbrado público al cantón Cuenca y por ende, es la responsable de garantizar el buen funcionamiento del mismo, por lo tanto la CENTROSUR, cuenta con un Departamento de Iluminación, el cual se encarga de la revisión y reparación periódica de los dispositivos involucrados en tal sistema, estas tareas son realizadas bajo un plan de mantenimiento correctivo y preventivo, siendo necesario analizarlo y determinar posibles acciones que permitan una mejora continua.
El presente trabajo parte con el análisis de los indicadores y consideraciones que se debe tener en cuenta para una buena gestión del mantenimiento, para luego describir su organización y niveles jerárquicos, culminando con la evaluación del mantenimiento preventivo del sistema de alumbrado público en el cantón Cuenca en base a normativas nacionales e internacionales. |
