| Abstract: | The present work is carried out with the purpose of projecting and diffusing the popular legend of the sector El Vado, traditional neighborhood of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador, as a form of cultural rescue and promotion of the public space; through workshops held with children from holiday communities who were involved in the process of artistic creation.
The final product is a comic book, the same one that contains the urban legend El farol de la viuda, these story revolves around the community of El Vado, was selected because of the importance that people of the sector grant.
The comic is reproduced in print and digital, so the legend El farol de la viuda is recognized not only in the city of Cuenca, but also within the country, since the technological advance allows us to break the barriers of communication . With the creation of the web page where the comic is loaded, it can be distributed through social networks and other web platforms |
| Description: | El presente trabajo es realizado con el fin de proyectar y difundir la leyenda popular del sector “El Vado”, barrio tradicional de la ciudad de Cuenca-Ecuador, como forma de rescate cultural y promoción del espacio público; por medio de talleres realizados con niños de colonias vacacionales quienes se involucraron en el proceso de creación artística.
El producto final es un cómic, el mismo que contiene la leyenda urbana “La viuda del farol”, esta historia gira alrededor de la comunidad de “El vado”, fue seleccionada debido a la importancia que varias personas del sector le otorgan.
El cómic se reproduce de manera impresa y digital, para que la leyenda “La viuda del farol”, sea reconocida no solo en la ciudad de Cuenca, sino también dentro del país, puesto que el avance tecnológico nos permite romper las barreras de la comunicación. Con la creación de la página web donde se encuentra cargado el cómic, se podrá distribuir por medio de redes sociales y otras plataformas web. |
