Abstract: | Background: Abortion and the post abortion stage is a controversial issue in every area. Although there are many studies on abortion, there are few that focus on a deeper analysis of the psyche and perceptual, attitudinal, and behavioral changes in post-abortion women.
General objective: to know the perceptions, attitudes and sexual behavior in post - labored women attended at the José Carrasco Arteaga Hospital during the period January - December, 2016.
Materials and methods: quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study. Surveys were applied and data were collected from women who had an abortion and were attended at the José Carrasco Arteaga Hospital during the year 2016. The information was tabulated in Excel and SPSS. Postoperative sexual perceptions, attitudes and behavior were evaluated.
Results: the mean age was 31.8 years, the most frequent group was 36 years or more, 45.5% were married, 71.5% lived in the urban area. They were considered mestizo 96% and Catholic 87.8%. 84.5% worked and 43.1% had a third level of education. The most relevant post-abortion attitude was the indifferent one with 60.2%. Positive perception reached 97.6%, while adequate sexual behavior stood out with 82.9%.
Conclusions: 60.2% presented an indifferent attitude. The positive post-abortion perception reached 97.6% and 82.9% showed no alteration in their sexual behavior |
Description: | Antecedentes: el aborto y la etapa post aborto es un tema controversial en todo ámbito. Aunque existen muchos estudios sobre el aborto, son pocos los que se enfocan en analizar con mayor profundidad la psique y los cambios que ocurren a nivel perceptivo, actitudinal y conductual en mujeres post aborto.
Objetivo general: conocer las percepciones, actitudes y conducta sexual en mujeres pos taborto atendidas en el Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga durante el periodo Enero – Diciembre del 2016.
Materiales y métodos: estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal y retrospectivo. Se aplicó encuestas y se recolectó los datos de las mujeres que tuvieron un aborto y se atendieron en el Hospital José Carrasco Arteaga durante el año 2016. La información se tabuló en Excel y SPSS. Se evaluaron las percepciones, actitudes y conductas sexuales post aborto.
Resultados: el promedio de edad fue de 31,8 años, el grupo más frecuente fue de 36 años o más, el 45,5% estuvo casada, el 71,5% residía en el área urbana. Se consideraron mestizas el 96% y católicas el 87,8%. El 84,5% trabajaba y el 43,1% tuvo un tercer nivel de instrucción. La actitud post aborto más relevante fue la indiferente con un 60,2%. La percepción positiva alcanzó el 97,6%, mientras que la conducta sexual adecuada sobresalió con un 82,9%.
Conclusiones: El 60.2% presentó una actitud indiferente. La percepción positiva post aborto alcanzó el 97.6% y el 82.9% no mostró alteración en su conducta sexual |
