| Abstract: | Background: The belief and practice of traditional medicine are rooted in our population, by a strong tradition of cultural heritage, being a common health problem according to many mothers, so it is necessary to improve our understanding of these men to determine the strategies that foster a comprehensive intercultural practice.
Course objective: To describe the traditional perceptions and beliefs of the Spanish market in mothers of Cuenca markets, 2017.
Materials and methods: A qualitative research was carried out, using the grounded theory and ethnography. The type of sampling that was used is the one of convenience, being carried out four interviews in depth until it was saturated the information these data were transcribed and analyzed by the program Atlas ti.
Outcome: The main causes of fright or fear are of natural and supernatural origin, the most frequent symptoms ranging from loss of sleep, inappropriate behaviors to death and according to their beliefs are the ideal treatment for cure if this phenomenon.
The beliefs of the mothers who come to Cuenca's markets for their children's cleanings are based on the influence of the family and the tradition of their ancestors.
Conclusions: The economic factor and the positive results in cleanings are the main reasons for the preference of traditional medicine. Being the intuition the primordial characteristic so that the mothers select them to the cleaners for the cleanings of their children |
| Description: | Antecedentes: La creencia y la práctica de la medicina tradicional están arraigadas en nuestra población, por una fuerte tradición de herencia cultural, siendo un problema de salud común de acuerdo a muchas madres, por ello es necesario mejorar nuestro entendimiento de estos males para determinar las mejores estrategias que fomente una práctica intercultural integral.
Objetivo general: Describir las percepciones y creencias tradicionales del susto o espanto en madres de los mercados de Cuenca, 2017.
Materiales y métodos: Se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo, donde se utilizó la teoría fundamentada y la etnografía. El tipo de muestreo que se empleo es el de conveniencia, realizándose cuatro entrevistas a profundidad hasta que se logró saturar la información estos datos fueron transcritos y analizados mediante el programa Atlas ti.
Resultado: Las principales causas del susto o espanto son de origen natural y sobrenatural, los síntomas más frecuentes van desde perdida del sueño, comportamientos inadecuados hasta la muerte y según sus creencias son las limpias el tratamiento ideal para la cura se este fenómeno.
Las creencias de las madres que acuden a los mercados de Cuenca para las limpias de sus hijos se fundamentan en la influencia de la familia y la tradición de sus antepasados.
Conclusiones: El factor económico, y los resultados positivos en las limpias son las razones principales para la preferencia de la medicina tradicional. Siendo la intuición la primordial característica para que las madres los seleccionen a los limpiadores para las limpias de sus hijos |
