Abstract

The work: "Audiovisual project of serial reports on the dissemination of handicrafts in the cantons of the Azuay: Sígsig, Chordeleg, Gualaceo and Paute" aims to document the reality of artisans in these cantons. The material tries to transmit the identity and the human, social and historical aspects that is constructed with each one of these pieces; That is to say, it seeks to systematize through an audiovisual product, the work done by the artisans of the cantons with their own techniques that have survived the passage of time. The parameters that are handled in the audiovisual product are intended to impact on those who see it, who is verbal and non-verbal elements allow the audience's imagination to reach the multimedia material. This series of reports will be classified with a topical content, using as a journalistic style the description and interpretation, with a testimonial and reconstruction structure to train the public. It is also intended to motivate the dissemination of multimedia projects that allow knowing the historical and patrimonial value of the objects that are elaborated in the cantons of the Azuay, seeking to value the craft production and to promote its propagation. It is necessary to contribute to a cultural video library of products that reflect the artisanal reality and show all the historical, cultural and commercial value that this means, supported by a journalistic approach, which not only respond to the Communication Law, but also the need to Promote the identity and culture of Ecuadorian peoples and nationalities.
