Abstract: | Background: andean medicine has reached a real boom in recent years, is currently used empirically that allows its daily practice in communities and parishes mainly achieved full development, being recognized by the population, and manifesting in the understanding, dialogue and respect for the rights of individuals.
Objetive. To determine the acceptance of Andean medicine in the canton Santa Isabel, 2017.
Methodology: The research is quantitative descriptive type cross - sectional, we worked with the inhabitants of the community Sulupali Santa Isabel parish, which was carried out a sampling calculation to obtain a population of 152 inhabitants. As an instrument applies to the form prepared by Álvarez Olivia (1), modified and tested by the authors; for approval he was subjected to a pilot and Cronbach's alpha was performed to obtain a result of 0.81, demonstrating that the instrument is reliable. In the analysis and tabulation of the obtained data the programs of Microsoft Word 2010, SPS version 15 were used. The presentation of the data was done in tables of frequencies and percentages with the respective statistical analysis.
Results: the results have served to identify the acceptance of Andean medicine in the users of the community Sulupali Santa Isabel parish, identifying the most accepted people with 72.4% corresponding to the female gender, married 59.2% of Catholic religion with 86.8% and 53.9% of primary instruction.
Conclusion: The users surveyed accept Andean medicine in their homes sometimes with 56.6%, the always 34.2%, that is to say 90.8% of the population and 9.2% do not accept Andean medicine, the affections The most frequently used by Andean medicine is the fright and bad air with an equal percentage of 28.3%, receiving Andean treatment with a value of 72.4%, improving its condition 59.9% and satisfying its needs, the 86.8% of users surveyed |
Description: | ANTECENDETES: la medicina andina ha alcanzado un verdadero auge en los últimos años, en la actualidad es utilizada en las comunidades y parroquias principalmente alcanzando un pleno desarrollo, siendo reconocida manifestándose en la comprensión.
OBJETIVO GENERAL. Determinar la aceptación de la medicina andina en el cantón Santa Isabel.
METODOLOGÌA: la investigación es cuantitativa tipo descriptiva, se trabajó con la comunidad Sulupali del cantón Santa Isabel, se realizó un cálculo de muestreo obteniéndose una población de 152 habitantes. Se aplicó el formulario de Álvarez(1), modificado y probado por las autoras; realizándose un pilotaje y el alfa de cronbach con resultado de .81 demostrando su confiabilidad. El análisis y tabulación de los datos obtenidos se utilizó Microsoft Word 2010, SPS versión 15. Los datos se realizaron en tablas de frecuencias y porcentajes con su análisis estadístico.
RESULTADOS: han servido para identificar la aceptación de la medicina andina, siendo las personas que más aceptan con el 72,4 % corresponde al género femenino, casados el 59,2% de religión católica con el 86.8 % y el 53,9 % de instrucción primaria.
CONCLUSIONES: los usuarios aceptan la medicina andina en sus hogares a veces con el 56,6 %, el siempre 34,2%, es decir el 90,8% de la población y el 9,2 % no acepta, las afecciones frecuentes por las que usan la medicina andina es el espanto y el mal aire con igual porcentaje de 28,3 %, recibiendo tratamiento el 72,4 %, mejorando su estado el 59,9 % y satisfaciendo sus necesidades el 86,8 % |
