Análisis comparativo de inventarios fotográficos. Determinación de valores y alteraciones en las edificaciones de valor ambiental en los barrios de San Roque y El Vado

Abstract

The architecture of Cuenca is characterized by its heterogeneity, resulting from the adaptation to various architectural currents and transformations over time. In the middle of the 20th century, the concern for the care of the heritage arises in the city and from there a series of tools and regulations for its management.

The present research focuses on using one of these tools, in this case the information provided by the patrimonial inventories of the city, in order to create a digital historical record of the buildings, that with time can be enriched with all the information that can be found of each patrimonial asset.

The choice of study buildings was based on the fact that the architecture of Cuenca is mainly formed by buildings with modest aesthetic, historical or scale characteristics, whose main values lie in the composition of the historical context, and which today are the largely affected by overly permissive intervention criteria. These buildings are cataloged according to the current ordinance as Environmental architecture.

Once this information is collected, it’s proposed a methodology based on the identification of values and risks to which the Environmental architecture has been submitted, in terms of its façade, type of implantation, fifth façade and use; and how these alterations affect the context in which these buildings are inserted. Based on these results, recommendations are made on current regulations in order to achieve a better management of buildings and the recovery of their values.
