| Abstract: | The present work carries out a historical and analytical investigation to intervene a patrimonial building called CASA GUILLEN, for which it is important the knowledge and understanding of how the city developed with respect to the house, for this a chronological analysis of the Plans of the City of Cuenca.
In the same way, a study is carried out regarding the types of intervention, in order to have a general knowledge at the moment of execution of the proposals that will be carried out later. Following the analysis of three references at the international, regional and local level, it is understood how these authors intervene in the restoration of the buildings and what was the process to follow to create a whole project and generate not only a livable place, but a space that positively contributes to the city
Having a general knowledge of the necessary concepts, we proceed to carry out an analysis of the housing to be studied, this analysis will be morphological, context, functional, structural, material, and each of the elements that compose the property to have a global understanding of the housing to generate a correct intervention.

| Description: | El presente trabajo realiza una investigación histórica y analítica para intervenir un inmueble patrimonial denominado Casa Guillén, por lo cual es importante el conocimiento y comprensión de cómo se desarrolló la cuidad con respecto a la vivienda, para esto se generó un análisis cronológico de los planos de la Ciudad de Cuenca.
De igual manera, se realiza un estudio respecto a las tipologías de intervención, para tener un conocimiento general en el momento de ejecución de las propuestas que más adelante se procede a realizar. Siguiendo con el análisis de tres referentes tanto a nivel internacional, regional y local, se entiende como dichos autores, intervienen en la restauración de las edificaciones y cuál fue el proceso a seguir para crear un proyecto íntegro y generar no solo un lugar habitable, sino un espacio que aporte positivamente a la ciudad teniendo un conocimiento general de los conceptos necesarios se procede a realizar un análisis de la vivienda a estudiar, este análisis será morfológico, de contexto, funcional, estructural, material, y de cada uno de los elementos que componen el inmueble para tener una comprensión global de la vivienda para generar una correcta intervención.
Después de comprender el proyecto en estado actual se procede a investigar cuales son las ordenanzas y normativas que rigen el sistema de intervención en las viviendas patrimoniales, para posterior a esto generar conceptos y generar la propuesta para el inmueble cumpliendo con los objetivos planteados |
