La inestabilidad del suelo en la parroquia Nulti

Abstract

This research analyzes the Nulti landslides Parish, belonging to the canton Cuenca of the province of Azuay. Landslides are an imminent threat to the people of this parish, especially in certain sectors where they have physically evident damage. Nulti has undergone major landslides in recent years that have destroyed everything in its path: civil construction, roads and above all have left land unfit for cultivation. The people of the affected sectors have lost their land and have been affected economically and do and know very little about these phenomena of nature. Methodologies and slope stabilization processes are employed to find a way to stop partially or totally the mass movement and runoff and groundwater found in the parish.
