Abstract: 
This research work was aimed to design a library-park for community development in San Rafael de Sharug in the Province of Azuay. The structured design was based on the use of natural building materials, where the importance of using materials it is found friendly to the environment. The purpose of this research was to perform the exercise of architectural design of a library park, taking into account important aspects to itís design and materials used, circulation and the correlation between them. With reference to the green building is a very important for professionals in architecture, which aims to link the needs of todayís society and art conceptualization.
Description: 
El presente trabajo de investigación, tuvo como propósito el diseñar un Parque Biblioteca para el Desarrollo Comunitario en San Rafael de Sharug en la Provincia del Azuay. El diseño fue estructurado con base a la utilización de materiales naturales para su construcción, en donde se constata la importancia del empleo de materiales amigables con el medio ambiente. La finalidad de esta investigación fue el realizar el ejercicio de diseño arquitectónico de un parque biblioteca, tomando en cuenta aspectos importantes para su diseño como: materiales utilizados, circulación y la correlación entre ellos. Se tomó como referencia que la bioconstrucción que es una conceptualización muy importante para los profesionales de arquitectura, que pretende relacionar las necesidades de la sociedad actual y el arte.
