| Abstract: | The present study is based on typifying two non-traditional types of steel structure industrial plants use in the industry, for its subsequent structural design, the loads that influence on the structured were established after the two non-traditional types of industrial buildings have been defined , paying attention to the seismic loads using an elastic response spectrum of accelerations, the combination of the loads are defined by the NEC (Ecuadorian Building Standard) to determine the internal forces and deformation to which the structure will be exposed , with this, it was possible to define the sections of each one of the structural members, being able to withstand the stresses to which each of them will be subjected, and control the deformations in order they can be within the parameters established by the design regulation for this kind of structures, having as a final result the structural drawings of the two industrial plants.
The structural modeling was done using the software SAP-2000, where the materials of the building, the sections of each one of the structural member, the loads and the combination of loads were defined, for the design and structural analysis of each one of the industrial plants. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo consiste en tipificar dos modelos no tradicionales de naves de estructura de acero utilizadas para la industria, para su posterior diseño estructural, una vez definidos los dos tipos no tradicionales de naves industriales, se establecieron las cargas que actúan sobre la estructura, tomando en cuenta cargas sísmicas mediante un espectro de respuesta elástico de aceleraciones, las combinaciones de las cargas son definidas por la NEC (Norma Ecuatoriana de la Construcción), para llegar a determinar las solicitaciones y deformaciones a la que va a estar expuesta la estructura, con esto se pudo definir las secciones de cada uno de los miembros estructurales, capaces de soportar las solicitaciones a la que van a estar sometidas cada uno de ellos, y además controlar las deformaciones, para que estas estén dentro de los parámetros establecidos por la norma de diseño para este tipo de estructuras, teniendo como resultado final los planos estructurales de las dos naves industriales.
La modelación estructural, se realizó con la ayuda del software SAP-2000, en ella se definieron los materiales de la estructura, las secciones de cada uno de los miembros estructurales, las cargas, las combinaciones de cargas y el espectro de respuesta elástico de aceleraciones previamente establecido, para el análisis y diseño estructural de cada una de las naves industriales. |
