| Abstract: | School violence is defined as a form of psychological, physical, social, parental, technological abuse and victimization and intimidation among students, which occurs permanently, increasing its intensity and diversifying its manifestations. The constant presence of this type of violence motivated conducting this investigation, which was carried out from a quantitative approach to descriptive level. The purpose was to determine the behaviors of bullying, developed in the BenignoMalo Education Unit, attended by 234 students, the questionnaire on bullying and abuse peer was applied in educational institutions EGB in city of Cuenca. A 61.6% reported verbal abuse, 25.6% do not know how violent behaviors are manifested, 4.3% mentioned physical abuse. As for those who bother, the answer was a representative group of students, with 24.8%. 33.6% of students reported predisposed to violence, if the cause; however, they represented a potential aggressors 38.5. The incidence of harassment at the level of victims and potential victims was 25.20% with 2.1% of potential victims. On the causes of bullying from the perspective of the aggressor, 25% replied that they did "because they were provoked." Finally, 38.4% did not communicate with anyone when situations of bullying, 31.3% shared with his family. With this background it is necessary to establish prevention programs that enable intervene favorably to this problem. |
| Description: | La violencia escolar, se define como una forma de maltrato psicológico, físico, social, parental, tecnológico, y de victimización e intimidación entre estudiantes, que ocurre de manera permanente, aumentando su intensidad y diversificando sus manifestaciones. La incidencia de este tipo de violencia motivó la realización de la presente investigación, la cual se realizó desde un enfoque cuantitativo a nivel descriptivo. El propósito fue determinar las conductas de acoso escolar, se desarrolló en la Unidad Educativa Temporal Benigno Malo, participaron 234 estudiantes de 10. EGB, se aplicó el Cuestionario sobre intimidación y maltrato entre pares en instituciones educativas de EGB, en la ciudad de Cuenca. Un 61.6% reportó maltrato verbal, un 25.6% desconocen cómo se manifiestan las conductas violentas, un 4.3% mencionó maltrato físico. En cuanto a quienes molestan, la respuesta más representativa fue un grupo de estudiantes, con un 24.8%. Se registró un 33.6% de estudiantes con predisposición a la violencia, si los provocan, los potenciales agresores representaron un 38.5 y los posibles agresores un 3%. La incidencia del acoso a nivel de víctimas y potenciales víctimas fue del 25.20% con un 2.1% de posibles víctimas. Sobre las causas del acoso desde la perspectiva del agresor, el 25% responde que lo hicieron “porque los provocaron“.Finalmente, el 38.4% señaló que no comunican a nadie, el 31.3% lo comentó con su familia. Con estos antecedentes se hace necesario establecer programas de prevención, que permitan intervenir favorablemente ante esta problemática. |
