Abstract

The monographic hereby establishes the importance of the intervention of social work within public institutions providing service education levels Baccalaureate General Unified, for that brief reference of education as essential for the development of a base it is society, then delve into the factors that affect school performance and as government through public and state policies intended to achieve a comprehensive education, quality and warmth. Social work is a profession that has a comprehensive approach to intervention that in the second part it is noted the importance that the intervention of social work in the education field, establishing the profession as an entity that investigates specific processes related to living conditions of individuals, their needs and potential, and through its functions and activities involved in the recognition and resolution of problems between human and institutional interactions, in order to achieve greater social and individual welfare of students . Finally, briefly it systematizes the pre-professional experience within the educational environment which reinforces the need and importance of the presence of social work in educational institutions, since their intervention is critical to preventing the worsening of social problems and family, through early detection and approach that relied on a systemic, holistic and integrated approach will continue contributing to obtaining greater social justice
