| Abstract: | The present work is a not experimental, longitudinal and correlational study involving 30 alcoholic patients and 30 referential patients. The main objective was to determine the lipid, atherogenic and electrolytic profile of the alcoholic patients with ages between 18-64 years who were admitted to “Centro Terapéutico de Adicciones Amor y Vida CENTERAVID,” and compare them with values of patients not drinkers. Another objective was to compare the values before and after the 30 days of the patients´ admission.
When comparing the values that were admitted patients with the referential was obtained an elevation in both the lipid profile as in the atherogenic profile. While for the electrolytic profile presented lower values in comparison with referential patients with a p=<0.05 for each variable analyzed with the exception of the HDLc and calcium that had no significant differences of 0,890 and 0,151 respectively.
Regarding the results of income lower values were obtained over 30 days of detoxification, for the case of atherogenic and lipid profile was introduced p = <0.05; except for the HDLc and IA2 which did not show significant difference with p = 0.664 and p = 0.063 respectively. For the electrolytic profile were higher than those that were admitted with a significant difference of <0.001 for the case of phosphorus, while for calcium and magnesium did not show significant differences with p=0.441 and p=0.411 respectively. |
| Description: | El presente trabajo es un estudio no experimental, longitudinal y correlacional en el que participaron 30 pacientes alcohólicos y 30 pacientes referenciales, cuyo objetivo principal, fue determinar el perfil lipídico, aterogénico y electrolítico a pacientes alcohólicos con edades comprendidas entre 18–65 años, que ingresaron al Centro Terapéutico de Adicciones Amor y Vida CENTERAVID y compararlos con valores de pacientes no bebedores, también se comparó los valores antes y después de los 30 días de su ingreso.
Al comparar los valores que ingresaron los pacientes con los referenciales se obtuvo una elevación tanto en el perfil lipídico y aterogénico mientras que para el perfil electrolítico presentaron valores inferiores en comparación con los pacientes referenciales con una p=<0,05 para cada variable analizada a excepción del HDLc y el calcio que tuvieron diferencias no significativas de 0,890 y 0,151 respectivamente.
Con relación a los resultados de ingreso se obtuvieron valores inferiores con respecto a los 30 días de desintoxicación, para el caso del perfil lipídico y aterogénico se presentó p=<0,05; a excepción del HDLc y el IA2 no presentó diferencia significativa con p=0,664 y p=0,063 respectivamente. Para el perfil electrolítico se obtuvieron valores superiores a los que ingresaron con una diferencia significativa de <0,001 para el caso del fósforo, para calcio y magnesio no presentaron diferencias significativas con p=0,441 y p=0,411 respectivamente. |
