| dc.description | Esta investigación se enfoca en las etapas de desarrollo y preproducción desde el rol del director. El caso del director-guionista es explorado, así como la teoría dramatúrgica básica,pues,es una variante muy común en un modelo independiente como el ecuatoriano. Los objetivos prioritarios son: entender que se espera del director durante estas etapas y que cosas debe esperar encontrar el director debutante al afrontar el reto de una producción en Ecuador. Con la información obtenida en esta investigación, se ha ejecutado la etapa de desarrollo y proyectado la preproducción del proyecto de largometraje Miradas. | dc.description.abstract | This research focuses on the development and pre-production stages from the role of the director. The case of writer-director is explored as well as the essential dramaturgical theory to the construction of a feature film, because it is very likely that independent filmmakers who use and independent model like in Ecuador, choose that option. The main objectives are: understand what is expected of the director during these stages and what things should the new filmmaker expect to find to meet the challenge of a production manager in Ecuador. With all the information obtained in this investigation, the director has faced the stage of development and has projected the preproduction of the feature film Miradas.
