| Abstract: | In this thesis the analysis and evaluation of different methods of sizing of a photovoltaic solar system mainly based on reliability by generating isoreliability lines, and then make a comparison between them and the classical methods are performed. Furthermore, methods are presented to generate radiation data schedules and diaries. The results of these methods are compared with real data and the results of the sizing methods using each of these data are evaluated.
The first chapter, discusses the state of art of photovoltaics energy situation, both in the world and in Ecuador, in addition to some definitions of reliability, and a brief description of the used methods. The second chapter, refers to the theoretical framework and the importance of studying the reliability of photovoltaic solar systems, the description of the types of solar photovoltaic systems, its operation and its elements. In the third chapter, some procedures for radiation data generation are exposed, which are used in the methods of sizing photovoltaic systems, then, the procedure for sizing the stand alone and grid connected PV – systems will be displayed. In the fourth chapter, the results of applying each of the sizing methods are exposed, an analysis and comparison of the results are also performed, using real data and data generated. In the fifth and final chapter, the conclusions and recommendations are presented. |
| Description: | En la presente tesis se realiza el análisis y evaluación de distintos métodos de dimensionamiento de un sistema fotovoltaico basados principalmente en fiabilidad, mediante la generación de curvas isofiables, para luego hacer una comparación entre éstos y los métodos clásicos. Además se presentan métodos para generar datos de irradiación tanto horarios como diarios, luego, con los resultados obtenidos de estos métodos se comparan con datos reales y se evalúan los resultados de los métodos de dimensionamiento al utilizar cada uno de estos datos.
El primer capítulo trata sobre el estado de arte de la situación de la energía fotovoltaica, tanto en el mundo como en el Ecuador, además de algunas definiciones de fiabilidad, y Zuna breve descripción de los métodos utilizados. El segundo capítulo se refiere al marco teórico y la importancia que tiene el estudio de la fiabilidad en los sistemas fotovoltaicos, la descripción de los tipos de sistemas solares fotovoltaicos, su funcionamiento y sus elementos. En el tercer capítulo se expone algunos procedimientos a seguir para la generación de datos de irradiación, los cuales se emplearán en los métodos de dimensionamiento de los sistemas fotovoltaicos, luego se mostrará el procedimiento a seguir para realizar el dimensionamiento de los SFVAR y SFVCR. En el cuarto capítulo se exponen los resultados obtenidos al aplicar cada uno de los métodos de dimensionamiento, también se realiza un análisis y comparación entre los resultados, al utilizar datos reales y datos generados. En el quinto y último capítulo se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones. |
