| Abstract: | By virtue of the importance of the construction within the development of a population always in function of satisfying the needs of the human being that each time are bigger. It has seen suitable to strengthen the knowledge in the area of the construction of Bridges and viaducts. For that, it carried out a literature review of the main constructive technologies used in the canton Cuenca: Reinforced concrete, Prestressed concrete, and Steel. It carried out interviews to professionals in the branch of the construction that give information about their executed works, from which are formed a photographic library. Besides, it visited facilities that provide prefabricated elements like the factory “Carrasco RFV-Construcciones” for prestressed concrete, and the workshop of the Architect Patricio Aguirre that counts with the factory of structural profiles of steel, only for supplying his works. Finally with the compiled information is evaluated the real situation of the canton, coming to the conclusion that the three technologies are applied without problem according to the technic solicitations: Light, conditions of cargo, service and security; but in a better percentage in Reinforced concrete, due to its versatility for building different kinds of bridges: portico, concrete beam, flagstone, etc., adapting to the form of its mold with a low cost and with acceptable results. |
| Description: | En virtud de la importancia de la construcción dentro del desarrollo de una población, siempre en función de satisfacer las necesidades del ser humano que cada vez son mayores, se ha visto conveniente reforzar los conocimientos en el área de la construcción de Puentes y Viaductos. Para ello, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de las principales tecnologías constructivas utilizadas en el cantón Cuenca: Hormigón Armado, Hormigón Pretensado y Acero, se realizaron entrevistas a profesionales en la rama de la construcción que brinden información a cerca de sus obras realizadas, de las cuales se conforma un archivo fotográfico; se visitaron también instalaciones que provean elementos prefabricados como la fábrica “Carrasco RFV-Construcciones” para hormigón pretensado, y el taller del Arq. Patricio Aguirre que cuenta con la fábrica de perfiles estructurales de acero, únicamente para suministrar sus trabajos. Finalmente con la información recopilada, se evalúa la situación actual del Cantón, llegando a la conclusión de que las tres tecnologías son aplicadas sin problema de acuerdo a las solicitacionestécnicas: Luz, condiciones de carga, servicio y seguridad; pero en un mayor porcentaje la de Hormigón Armado, gracias a su versatilidad para construir diferentes tipos de puentes: pórtico, viga, losa, etc. Adaptándose a la forma de su encofrado, con un bajo costo y con resultados aceptables. |
