| Abstract: | General Objective: This research aims to identify "The fears and feelings related to pregnancy and childbirth process in adolescents attending the Health Sub-Centre Virgen del Milagro - Azuay, 2014"
Methodology:
A qualitative and quantitative research was applied, using data collection instruments, interviews, home visits, carried out 64 pregnant and postpartum teens; This allowed access to more accurate and precise information of respondents. a classification was established in the age of the adolescents under study, being this; women 12 to 14 years old, 15-17 years old and 18-19 years old, by the difference in their physical and psychological characteristics.
Results:
In this research we identified that the majority of women surveyed showed a clear fear of the arrival of the baby and postpartum care, being unknown. Few adolescents were showing peace deal with this situation. Mostly pregnant women and postpartum teens had feelings of affection, alarm, fear and happiness, regarding the new being.
Conclusions:
We conclude that in the present investigation, we were able to identify the most common fears and feelings during pregnancy and childbirth, being among them, affection, fear, alarm, the respondents submitted to the baby's arrival. On the other hand, they were accessible to all interviews, participating in a positive and organized way. |
| Description: | Objetivo General: La presente investigación pretende identificar los temores y sentimientos relacionados con “proceso de embarazo y parto en adolescentes que acuden al Subcentro de Salud Virgen del Milagro - Azuay, 2014”.
Metodología: Se aplicó una investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa, mediante la utilización de instrumentos de recolección de información, entrevistas, visitas domiciliarias, realizadas a 64 adolescentes embarazadas y de posparto; esto permitió acceder a una información más veraz y precisa de las encuestadas. Se estableció una clasificación en las edades de las adolescentes objeto de estudio, siendo esta; mujeres de 12 – 14 años, 15 – 17 años y 18 – 19 años de edad, por la diferencia de sus características físicas y psicológicas.
Resultados:
En la presente investigación identificamos que la mayoría de las mujeres encuestadas demostraron un claro temor hacia la llegada del bebé y cuidados posteriores al parto, por ser algo desconocido. Pocas fueron las adolescentes que mostraron tranquilidad frente a esta situación. En su mayoría las mujeres adolescentes embarazadas y de posparto presentaron sentimientos de afectividad, alarma, miedo y felicidad, con respecto al nuevo ser.
Conclusiones:
Concluimos que en la presente investigación, pudimos identificar los temores y sentimientos más comunes durante el embarazo y parto, siendo entre estos, afectividad, miedo, alarma, que las encuestadas presentaron a la llegada del bebé. Por otro lado, todas se mostraron accesibles a las entrevistas realizadas, participando de manera positiva y organizada. |
