Abstract: | The evaluation of quality of life related to health (HRQOL) and can provide valuable additional information on the situation of the patient with VIH / SIDA, but this issue has been neglected in the middle, under which, present the investigation. Knowing the quality of life of patients living with VIH / SIDA who come to the outpatient infectious Regional Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso (HVCM) of the city of Cuenca. Identify the personal characteristics of each patient; interpret the quality of life from the perspective of the physical, psychological and social dimension in people affected by VIH / SIDA. The research is participatory, qualitative descriptive transversal through the questionnaire application QVIH-1 with eight variables that assess the physical, psychological and social dimensions. voluntarily they participated in 37 patients with VIH / SIDA who come to the outpatient infectologías the HVCM. By identifying the three dimensions comprising HRQOL they are affected all the participants it is concluded that patients with VIH / SIDA live a poor HRQOL according to the state of the presence disease symptoms, social, psychological distress and emotional disturbs your standard performance evaluation of the quality of life related to health (HRQOL) and can provide valuable additional information on the situation of the patient with VIH / SIDA, but this issue has been neglected in the middle, under which, present research. Description: | La evaluación de la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud (CVRS) puede aportar información valiosa y complementaria sobre la situación que atraviesa el paciente con VIH/SIDA, sin embargo este tema se ha descuidado en el medio, en virtud de lo cual, presentan la investigación. Conocer el nivel de calidad de vida de los pacientes que padecen VIH/SIDA que acuden a la consulta externa de infectología del Hospital Regional Vicente Corral Moscoso (HVCM) de la ciudad de Cuenca. Identificar las características personales de cada paciente; interpretar la calidad de vida desde las perspectivas de la dimensión física, psicológica y social en las personas afectadas por VIH/SIDA. La investigación tiene carácter cualitativo participativo, descriptivo de tipo transversal a través de la aplicación del cuestionario QVIH-1 con ocho variables que permiten valorar las dimensiones física, psicológica y social. Participaron en forma voluntaria 37 pacientes que padecen VIH/SIDA que acuden a la consulta externa de infectologías del HVCM. Al identificarse que las tres dimensiones que comprende la CVRS están afectados en la totalidad de los participantes se concluye que los pacientes con VIH/SIDA llevan una mala CVRS en función al estado de la enfermedad presencia de sintomatología, factores sociales, alteración psicológica y emocional que perturba su norma desempeño |
