| Abstract: | This thesis took place in the company of mixed economy, "Union CementeraNacional, UCEM C.E.M. Guapán Industrial Company in the Department of quality Control of concrete, a study was done on the use of various additives such as plasticizers reducers of water in the preparation of concrete and verified the influence of these additives on the property of resistance to compression.The studied concrete was made with materials such as: cement Guapán, additives distributed by SIKA, ADITEC and VENTAJET, aggregates through company VIPESA CONSTRUCCIONES CIA and drinking water consumed in the city of Azogues.
They were determined the physical properties of aggregates, cement and concrete in its fresh and hardened State. I determine the resistance to compression is up to the age of 28 days with the help of cylindrical specimens.
The A.C.I. method was selected to obtain the mixing pattern (without additives) and then obtained various mixtures with different concentrations of additive (minimum - average - maximum), to obtain concretes of 300 kg/cm2- 210 kg/cm2.
According to the data or results obtained, it was determined which additives made the concrete mixture to reach or exceed the compressive strength required, reducing water dosing therefore the quantity of cement, in order to obtain the optimum mix of concrete and the most affordable possible, without affecting the other properties of the concrete and conserving the workability of the mixture pattern. |
| Description: | La presente tesis tuvo lugar en la Compañía de Economía Mixta, "Unión Cementera Nacional, UCEM C.E.M Planta Industrial Guapán en el departamento de Control de Calidad de Hormigones, se realizó un estudio sobre el uso de diferentes aditivos como plastificantes reductores de agua en la elaboración de hormigón y se verificó la influencia que estos aditivos tienen en la propiedad de la resistencia a la compresión. El hormigón estudiado fue elaborado con materiales de la zona como: cemento Guapán, aditivos distribuidos por los proveedores SIKA, ADITEC y VENTAJET, áridos suministrados por la Compañía VIPESA CONSTRUCCIONESy, agua potable que se consume en la ciudad de Azogues.
Se determinaron las propiedades físicas de los agregados, cemento y del hormigón en su estado fresco y endurecido. La resistencia a la compresión se la determinó hasta la edad de 28 días con la ayuda de probetas cilíndricas.
Se seleccionó el método A.C.I. para la obtención de la mezcla patrón (sin aditivo) y seguidamente se obtuvo distintas mezclas con diferentes concentraciones de aditivo (mínima – media – máxima), para la obtención de hormigones de 300 kg/cm2 y 210 kg/cm2.
En función de los datos o resultados obtenidos se determinó cuál de los aditivos hizo que las mezclas de hormigón alcanzaran o sobrepasaran la resistencia a la compresión deseada, reduciendo agua en la dosificación y en consecuencia la cantidad de cemento, de manera que se obtenga una mezcla óptima de hormigón y la más económica posible, sin afectar las demás propiedades del hormigón, conservando la trabajabilidad de la mezcla patrón. |
