| Abstract: | Agree that the architecture of the city of Cuenca is a vernacular architecture, which has been improved from generation to generation, it is appropriate to reflect and learn from it, but also need to enrich and renew.
At present, due to environmental problems, we must think not only visually pleasing buildings, but also in those that are friendly to the environment, therefore it is essential sustainable housing project, to create a higher level of comfort, optimizing leverage resources and materials from the region considering the climatic conditions to obtain maximum performance with the least impact through energy efficient and formally well-conceived projects, as a result of climate analysis and be able to apply the requirements to a sustainable project, based on program needs for a family interested in environmental quality, through a conscious architecture.
As a result, this paper can take as an input, which provides sustainable architectural solutions that can be applied to housing. To achieve this, it is very important to the relationship Architecture - Environment, which allows us to know better the resources provided by nature to enhance them for housing and thus reduce environmental impacts through mechanisms that reduce or eliminate dependence on non-renewable resources. |
| Description: | Consiente que la arquitectura de la ciudad de Cuenca, es una arquitectura vernácula, que se ha mejorado de generación en generación, es conveniente reflexionar y aprender de ella, pero también es necesario enriquecerla y renovarla.
En la actualidad, debido a los problemas ambientales, debemos pensar no solo en edificaciones visualmente agradables, sino también en aquellas que son amigables con el ambiente, por tal razón, es indispensable proyectar viviendas sustentables, para crear un mayor nivel de confort, optimizando los recursos y aprovechar materiales de la región considerando las condiciones climáticas, para obtener el máximo rendimiento con el menor impacto, mediante proyectos energéticamente eficientes y formalmente bien concebidos, como consecuencia de un análisis climático y así poder aplicar los requerimientos sustentable a un proyecto, basándose en un programa de necesidades para una familia interesada en la calidad medio ambiental, a través de una arquitectura consiente.
Como consecuencia, este documento se lo puede tomar como un aporte, que ofrece soluciones arquitectónicas sustentables, que se pueden aplicar a una vivienda. Para lograr esto, es muy importante tener presente la relación Arquitectura – Medio Ambiente, lo cual nos permite conocer de mejor manera los recursos que nos brinda la naturaleza para potenciarlos a favor de la vivienda y de esta manera disminuir los impactos medio ambientales, mediante mecanismos que reducen o eliminan la dependencia de recursos no renovables. |
